About the Role
DFW MedRoute Logistics is seeking a Partnerships Manager to lead the development and expansion of strategic relationships with healthcare networks, laboratories, clinics, pharmaceutical providers, and national courier platforms.
This role is responsible for driving new business opportunities, strengthening existing partnerships, and positioning the company as a trusted logistics provider within the healthcare ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
Partnership Development
• Identify, prospect, and establish new partnerships with hospitals, labs, clinics, research facilities, and healthcare networks
• Build relationships with national courier platforms and logistics aggregators to secure consistent delivery volume
• Represent the company at industry events, healthcare conferences, and networking functions
Account Management
• Serve as the primary relationship manager for strategic partners
• Conduct regular check-ins, performance reviews, and service optimization meetings
• Resolve partnership issues and ensure contract fulfillment
Sales & Contract Support
• Coordinate pricing discussions, service proposals, and contract negotiations
• Work with operations and compliance teams to ensure partner requirements are met
• Support onboarding of new partners and service integrations
Market Expansion
• Identify new geographic and industry vertical opportunities
• Support regional expansion strategies
• Analyze competitor activity and market trends
Internal Collaboration
• Work closely with Operations, Dispatch, HR & Compliance, and Marketing teams
• Provide feedback on client needs and service improvements
• Support branding and marketing initiatives for healthcare audiences
Reporting & Strategy
• Track partnership pipeline and revenue performance
• Maintain accurate CRM records
• Provide leadership with growth forecasts and strategic recommendations
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 3+ years of experience in partnerships, business development, sales, or strategic accounts
• Proven ability to build and manage long-term B2B relationships
• Strong negotiation and contract coordination skills
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities
• Ability to represent the company professionally with executives, administrators, and healthcare leaders
• Strong organizational and CRM management skills
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and meet growth targets
• Proficiency with CRM systems, email outreach tools, and Microsoft Office / Google Workspace
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in healthcare logistics, medical courier services, laboratory services, or pharmaceutical distribution
• Existing relationships with hospitals, labs, clinics, or healthcare systems
• Familiarity with healthcare compliance standards including HIPAA
• Experience working with national courier platforms or logistics networks
• Knowledge of healthcare contracting and vendor onboarding processes
